A New Voice For Waltham

Heather May for 9th Middlesex/Waltham.

Here in Massachusetts important decisions are made at the State House every day on issues that directly affect you, from budgets and zoning to transportation and the Fernald Property itself. For too long, those decisions have been made behind closed doors, by a handful of powerful leaders on Beacon Hill. A handful of people who you didn’t vote for, who don’t know your city, who don’t know YOU, and who have no reason to consider your concerns because the system we currently have will never hold them accountable. And yet every January most Representatives, including our current State Representative, vote against increased transparency in our legislature. They repeatedly oppose rules that would increase participation by the public, increase the accountability of our elected officials, and ultimately increase the quality of life for people in every city and town across the state, including here in Waltham.

It doesn’t have to be this way. I am running for State Representative in the 9th Middlesex because we need a new voice on Beacon Hill, and I would be honored to have your vote on September 3rd.

Transparent & Accountable

Waltham cannot afford to become another unaffordable extension of Boston. I will fight for you, our seniors, and our youth.
